1. Introduction
Welcome to On Time Cars. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of our car rental and cab services (“Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our Services.

2. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle or book a cab, you must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a valid identification document. For certain vehicle categories, a minimum age of 21 years may apply.

3. Booking and Reservations
– Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email, SMS, or a phone call.
– Advance Payment: A non-refundable advance payment may be required to confirm your booking. The balance payment is due before the start of the rental period or the journey.
– Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.

4. Rental Period
– Start and End Time: The rental period begins and ends as specified in your booking confirmation. Late returns may incur additional charges.
– Extensions: If you wish to extend the rental period, please contact us at least 3 hours before the scheduled end time. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and additional charges.

5. Vehicle Use
– Permitted Use: The vehicle must be used only for personal transportation and not for commercial purposes unless explicitly agreed upon.
– Driver Requirements: Only the driver(s) listed in the booking agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle. Any unauthorized driver may void insurance coverage and result in penalties.
– Driving Restrictions: The vehicle must not be driven outside of specified areas or states as mentioned in the agreement without prior approval. Off-road driving is strictly prohibited.

6. Insurance and Liability
– Insurance Coverage: The rental vehicle is covered under basic insurance, including third-party liability. Additional coverage may be available upon request.
– Customer Responsibility: In the event of damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle, the customer is liable for the deductible amount as per the insurance policy and any damages not covered by insurance.
– Accidents and Damages: In case of an accident or damage, the customer must immediately inform us and the nearest police station. The customer is required to provide a detailed report and cooperate with any investigations.

7. Fuel Policy
– Fuel Level: The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel. The customer is required to return the vehicle with a full tank. If the fuel level is lower, refueling charges will apply.
– Refueling Charges: In case of insufficient fuel, refueling charges will be based on the prevailing market rates plus a service fee.

8. Tolls, Parking, and Traffic Violations
– Tolls and Parking Fees: The customer is responsible for all tolls, parking fees, and any other charges incurred during the rental period.
– Traffic Violations: The customer is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period. Failure to pay these may result in additional charges.

9. Termination of Rental Agreement
– Early Termination: We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement early in cases of misuse, violation of terms, or illegal activities. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
– Customer-Initiated Termination: The customer may terminate the rental agreement early by returning the vehicle. Any unused rental period will not be refunded unless otherwise specified.

10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any delays, cancellations, or failures in the performance of our Services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.

11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune.

12. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated Terms will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.
